More Lopi Sweaters

I didn’t photograph many lopi sweaters at the meet, last weekend.

I saw a lot of very beautiful ones, but I don’t feel comfortable photographing people I don’t know and publishing their picture without their permission.

I think this issue is hotly debated by amateur photographers.

But as far as I understand, it’s OK to photograph people in a public place. But I still like to have their permission, if at all possible.

Perhaps this is silly of me. It did hinder me in getting photos of many a wonderful sweater I saw and would very much have liked to include in my little collection.

What do you think? Am I just being overly sensitive?

But here are the pictures I did get:

I agree that it is best to ask to post photos of people. SOmetimes I am a bit overwhelmed with everyone thinking they can post what ever they want on the internet . . . a bit to public for me! I am glad you do ask!

Thank you. The more I think about this, the more I feel it’s right for me to ask.
Other people may do things differently, but I have to do what feels right for me.
